Where does our tap water come from?
When was the last time you had a drink of water?
I’m guessing quite recently because of the lovely sunny weather we have been blessed with!
This morning a gentleman from Severn Trent Water came to our school and helped us learn more did a about water wasting and sewage. He was telling us about putting things like baby wipes, paper towels, fats, oils and greases down the toilet and sink and how it affects our water pipes. Some children were selected to help by showing pictures of the water’s journey before it reaches our taps.
A Super Sunny Sports Day;-)
Well done Year 3, you were all amazing today! You tried your best in all the activities and worked brilliantly together in your teams, despite the heatwave!!
Fiver Challenge Fun
This morning we have been busy raising money for our school by taking part in the Year 5’s amazing fiver challenge!
